Artists statement

We have the power to shape our lives and as a result, we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility that determine our sense of self-worth. My vision for “Life Curated” is based on observations of life. It explores the relationship we have with eeryday experiences and the choices they present us with.

Iconography is used to express the inner spirit which at times is threatened or in conflict. White space represents the isolation we feel when faced with an issue. While bright yellow at times is used to express the positivity that exists outside the darkness. Different mediums like pen, ink and watercolour are used to evoke motion, stillness, detail, texture and expression.
